Waka Kōtuku RAIS is designed for Māori, Pākehā, settlers, descendants, whānau, researchers and people around the world who want to understand where people came from, what happened, and what the surviving records actually show.
Tradition is preserved as tradition. Documentary evidence is preserved with its source. Interpretation is identified as interpretation. Disagreement is not erased — it is made visible so people can examine the record for themselves.

SHA-256 fingerprints, provenance fields, audit records and controlled backups are part of the RAIS design. Private owner records and credentials belong outside the public trust zone.
